He recalled that it was Hon. Adekoya that sponsored the bill which led to increase in the retirement age of teachers from 60 years to 65 years among other bills, saying that posterity will remember Adekoya for his good deeds.

He urged Hon. Adekoya not to relent in his efforts to bequeath a lasting legacy of monumental development to his Constituency, while he advocated unflinching support for Adekoya in his onerous task of leaving his Constituency better than he met it.

In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Adekoya, who was recently inducted into the prestigious Ijebu-Ode Club as Centenary Liaison Officer, thanked the Publisher for the visit.

He assured of implementation of more constituency projects that will improve the quality of lives of the people across the Federal Constituency.

Adekoya tasked the Ijebu people to protect the Ijebu dialect by speaking the language at every public and private function, warning that failure to speak the language more often can lead to its extinction.

He advised the elites to inculcate the habit of speaking the language at all times into their children.
