The Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba, has congratulated Brigadier-General Adewale Adekoya on his appointment as the new Commander, 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala, Abeokuta.

Oba Adenugba, who described the appointment as well deserved, noted that Brig-Gen Adewale Adekoya is a diligent military officer who has demonstrated high level of professionalism in his career.

The monarch said he was not surprised at the appointment of Brig-Gen Adekoya, as he has had history of meritorious service  within and outside the country which eloquently qualified him for his current appointment as the Commander, 35 Artillery Brigade.

Oba Adenugba disclosed that he is optimistic that Brig-Gen Adekoya will make a tremendous success of his new appointment, having attained unblemished record in his career services.

The Royal Father said the people of Ago-Iwoye are proud of Brig-Gen Adekoya, who is an Illustrious son of the town, for bringing such honour of his appointment to the town, while he assured that the entire people of Ago-Iwoye are solidly behind him and praying for his success in his new assignment.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that Brig-Gen Adekoya, during his visit to the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun in his office, promised that the Nigerian Army will ensure an improvement in the security architecture of Ogun State.

Adekoya also said that the military would collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to maintain peace in the state, as he expressed his readiness to work with the state government towards putting in place a lasting security plans.
