The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Ijebu-Ode Area Command, has honoured the Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba, with a Merit Award.
The Award was presented in Ijebu-Ode on Wednesday to Oba Adenugba, in recognition of his immense support to the Nigeria Police Force and Police Community Relations Committee in the command.
The Chairman of PCRC, Ijebu-Ode Area Command, Otunba Fatai Agbolade, while presenting the Award, thanked Oba Adenugba for his numerous contributions to the sustenance of peace and security in Ijebu-Ode Area Command.
Otunba Agbolade urged other traditional rulers to emulate Oba Adenugba by partnering with PCR in order to ensure a safer and more secured society.
In his response, Oba Adenugba thanked the PCRC for the honour done him, and assured that he is always available whenever his support is needed.
Oba Adenugba advised the police to step up its efforts aimed at combating the various security challenges confronting the society.
