The new Commissioner of Police in Kwara, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, has

Egbetokun at a maiden press briefing in Ilorin on Sunday said:
“Criminals will not have a place in the state.

Egbetokun appealed to the people to always support the Police
Command, adding that he would need the support of the people to succeed
in his assignment.

The CP said he was in Kwara to discharge his duty with vigour, honour and integrity.
He noted that he was satisfied with the arrangement he met on ground

Egbetokun promised to provide level playing ground for all the political parties in the state.
“I am committed to the rule of law and principle of fairness and justice,” the CP added.
He, however, advised journalists in the state against spreading falsehood and distorting fact.
