Atiku Abubakar, politician and business tycoon, who is celebrating
his birthday on Sunday was born on 25th November, 1946 at Jada in
Adamawa state.
He was Vice-President of Nigeria from 1999-2007 under President Olusegun Obasanjo on the platform of PDP.
Atiku was turbaned earlier today as the 7th Waziri Adamawa at the palace of His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Muhammadu Aliyu Barkindo Mustapha, the Lamido of Adamawa.

The elaborate ceremony was witnessed by former Presidents, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon.
