Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun,  has felicitated the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, on the occasion of his 58th birthday celebration, describing him as a reliable patriot.

The Vice president was born on September 2, 1966.

Governor Abiodun,  in a statement signed by his Adviser on Media and Strategy,  Hon.  Kayode Akinmade, also extolled the former Governor of Borno State as an intellectual par excellence, who has tremendously brought his rich academic skill to bear in governance and civil administration.

He averred that Shettima’s antecedents of statesmanship and resourcefulness, coupled with his penchant for paradigm change through selfless leadership informed his choice as Vice President by President Bola Tinubu.

Prince Abiodun,  therefore,  prayed God to grant the Vice President more fulfilled life in sound health, for him to continue to contribute his priceless quota to the development of Nigeria.

“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Ogun State, I heartily congratulate our cerebral Vice President,  Senator Kashim Shettima, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.

“Today, we celebrate not only the anniversary of your birth but also the remarkable journey you have undertaken in service to our great nation. Your unwavering commitment to nation-building and your relentless pursuit of progress have left an indelible mark on the fabric of our society.

“Throughout your distinguished career, you have exemplified the qualities of a true leader.

“As Vice President, you have continued to champion initiatives aimed at fostering economic growth, social inclusion, and infrastructural development. Your visionary leadership in advocating for education, healthcare, and youth empowerment has inspired many and positioned our nation for a brighter future. Your ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, from local communities to international partners, demonstrates your commitment to building a united and prosperous Nigeria.

“Your compassion and empathy shine through in your interactions with citizens. You have always been a voice for the voiceless, advocating for those in need and ensuring that their concerns are addressed. Your humility has endeared you to many, making you a beloved figure among Nigerians.

“As I wish you  more impactful life in good health, I want to extoll your virtues of loyalty, courage and leadership acumen,  which perfectly you are a dependable co-driver of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu”, the statement read.
