A total of 925 customers of Parallex Bank were rewarded with different sums of money ranging from N5,000 to N1m in the first season of Parallex Bank’s savings promo.

In a statement on Tuesday, the bank said that the grand finale of the ‘Save and Win’ promo rounded off with a grand finale in Lagos.

The ‘Save and Win Promo’ was launched in October 2024 with draws held in cities such as Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Uyo, Warri, and Abuja.

At the grand finale, which was held at its Isolo branch, two customers, Chidiebere Azubuike and Ese Fidelis, walked away with N1m each, while 153 others won various cash prizes.

Speaking on behalf of the Managing Director at the finale event, the Chief Digital Officer and Head of Retail and SMEs, Mr Frank Alarapon, said the goal of the campaign is to reward customers for their trust and loyalty in choosing Parallex Bank.

“Over 900 customers have been rewarded in the last six months. For the grand finale, we made it even more exciting by having two millionaire winners, unlike previous draws where only one customer claimed the top prize,” Alarapon said.

The Head of Products, Parallex Bank, Azeez Arogundade, said the promo is one of the ways Parallex Bank is connecting with its loyal customers. He said the bank has several products designed to offer Nigerians a limitless banking experience in personal, business, corporate or private banking. Arogundade added that the bank is positioned to meet the banking needs of all Nigerians across all strata of the economy.

Declaring the grand finale opened, Zonal Coordinator, Southwest Region of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, Mrs Margaret Aboluwade, lauded the bank for maintaining transparency and fairness throughout the promo. She commended the financial institution for its commitment to ethical practices and customer satisfaction.

At the end of the draw, 50 winners got airtime worth N5,000, another set of 50 customers won N10,000 each, 30 customers went home with N20,000.00, 10 customers got N50,000, three winners won N100,000 each, and two winners won N1m each.
