Seun Odunlami
Gunmen on Wednesday, 25th September, 2024, abducted the Publisher of Newsjaunt online news platform, Seun Odunlami, at the Oke-Ilewo area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that Odunlami was abducted around 1:00 pm while standing outside a bank, where he had gone to conduct a transaction with a colleague.
Odunlami’s colleague who was with him when the incident happened said the gunmen arrived in a car and whisked him away.
When Odunlami’s colleague called him on phone to ask where he was being taken, he replied that the gunmen identified themselves as operatives of the Special Fraud Unit, and were taking him to Ikoyi-Lagos.
“The gunmen arrived in a car, handcuffed Seun, and dragged him in.
“When I called him on the phone, he said they were from the Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi”, the colleague recounted.
Odunlami’s phone was switched off after the abduction, leaving him incommunicado.
