Uzodinma re-elected as Imo Governor

Senator Hope Uzodinma, the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the gubernatorial election held on Saturday, 11th November, 2023, has emerged winner of the election.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that the re-election of Senator Uzodinma for a second term was announced on Sunday morning by the INEC’s Returning Officer, Prof. Abayomi Fashina.

According to Prof. Fashina, Senator Uzodinma scored 540,308  votes while the candidate of PDP, Mr Anyanwu scored 71,503 votes. The Labour Party candidate, Mr Achonu scored 64,081 votes.
