The burial arrangements for late Prof. Lai Oso, who died in an auto crash on Saturday, 24th June, 2023, have been announced.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that according to a press release signed by Mr Waheed Ogunjobi, a day of Tribute by Lagos State University’s Faculty of Communication and Media Studies will hold on Tuesday, 11th July, 2023, at the Buba Marwa Auditorium of the University, beginning from 10am.

The release added that there will be another day of Tribute on Wednesday, 12th July, 2023, by the tertiary institutions in Ogun State offering Mass Communication; Professional Associations such as Nigeria Union of Journalists and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations; media organisations such as Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation and Ogun State Television; friends and associates of the deceased among others. The event will be held at the OGD Hall, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

The Christian wake keep will hold on Thursday, 13th July, 2023, at Mercy Hall, 14, Bolanle Avenue, along GRA Road, opposite Coca Cola depot, at the back of Prudent Oil, along GRA road, Sagamu, at 4:00pm.

On Friday, 14th July, 2023, the funeral service will hold at Remo Traditional Council Hall, Aafin Akarigbo, Ita-Oba, Sagamu, at 10:00 am, while reception follows thereafter.
