Gov Dapo Abiodun
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has appointed six Special Advisers into his administration.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that the new appointment is the second to be made by the governor to kickstart his second term in office. He had earlier re-appointed the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Tokunbo Talabi and also approved the appointment of Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo as the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS),
According to a statement by the SSG, Tokunbo Talabi, Mr. Oladapo Okubadejo has been appointed as the Chief Economic Adviser to the governor.
Others are, Mr. Olaolu Olabimtan, Special Adviser, Ministry of Budget and Planning; Jagunmolu Jamiu Akande Omoniyi, Special Adviser, Ministry of Housing; Engr. Adebowale O. Akinsanya, Special Adviser, Ministry of Works & Infrastructure; Mr. Olusina Ogungbade, Special Adviser, Ministry of Justice and Dr. Tomi Coker, Special Adviser, Ministry of Health.
The appointments take immediate effect.
It will be recalled that the 9th House of Assembly in the State had earlier approved the request of the Governor to appoint 20 Special Advisers.
