The candidate of NNPP, Abba Kabir Yusuf has emerged the winner of the Kano state gubernatorial election.

Yusuf polled 1,019,602 votes to defeat his closest rival in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, who scored 890,705  votes.
