DSP Bright Edafe
The spokesperson of the Delta state police command, DSP Bright Edafe, has pointed out that it is against the law for a person to be arrested in place of a suspect.
“There is no justification to arrest a person in place of a suspect”, Delta Police PRO, Bright Edafe, tells citizens to know their rights.
He shared in a tweet, the portion of the criminal justice act which states that a person shall not be arrested in place of a suspect.
