The Muslim High School, Ago-Iwoye, Class ’92 Old Students Association, on Saturday, 18th June, 2022, celebrated 30th Anniversary reunion party.
The event witnessed the coming together of the old students of the 1992 set which graduated 30 years ago.

As a way of giving back to their alma mater and supporting quality teaching and learning experience in the school, the old students donated six white marker boards with accessories.
The high point of the reunion celebration was presentation of Lifetime Impactful Recognition Award to some of their old teachers. They are: Pa T T Otusanya, Alhaji Fasasi Oladunjoye, Imam Oloruntoyin Ashiru, Hon Gbenga Nuberu, Mr Sefiu Adenusi, Revd Adebola Olunowo and Prof Sefiu Oladunjoye. Mr. Sefiu Bakare (Agba City) and Mrs. Ajila Oluwatoyin, who were non teaching staff during their stay in the school were presented with Distinguished Service Award.

In his welcome address, the Class ’92 set Chairman, Mr. Ayo Awobona, went down memory lane as he relieved the memory of how the school had prepared them for what they have all become in their various endeavours, and how the discipline the school instilled in them had stayed with them till date.
He thanked all their teachers for their indefatigable efforts in charting the right course for them.
In his remarks, the organizing committee chairman, Mr. Kehinde Osunneye, thanked all members of the set for making the event a success, urging the school to put the learning aid materials donated to good use.
Presentation of Award to Prof Oladunjoye
The Chairman of the occasion, Hon. J. F Adegbesan, advised the entire Class ’92 set to keep up the good work they started, noting that “it is always good to give back to our old schools”, while he thanked Class ’92 set for not forgetting where they started from.
In her keynote address, the National President of Muslim High School, Ago Iwoye, Old Students Association, Mrs. Morenikeji Olaiwole (FCA), noted the importance of the reunion to the National Association as it helps in delivering part of the mandate of the national association of giving back to their old school.
She thanked Class ’92 set for their ingenuity and urged everyone that had passed through the school to emulate the set in action and in deed by regrouping across sets so that the school will feel the full presence of the old students.
The Principal of the Junior School, Pastor Oshodipe, was full of appreciation in receiving the learning aid materials donated to the school. He thanked Class ’92 set for their kind gesture to the school, and like Oliver Twist, he extended call to the national association to come to the aid of the school in numerous ways in order to complement government efforts.
Alhaji Fasasi Oladunjoye, one of the award recipients and a retired school principal, in his remarks, noted the moral decadence that had pervaded the polity. He urged the National Old Students Association to remember the present students of the school in their programmes by adding periodic pep talks to their itinerary, which he believed will motivate the students to excel in their studies.
Responding on behalf of the Award recipients, Prof Sefiu Oladunjoye appreciated Class ’92 set for their thoughtfulness towards the Awardees, and urged the national association to consider human capital development in their programmes for the school.
