A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the 2023 House Representatives election, Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi, has congratulated the new Orimolusi-Elect, Prince Lawrence Jayeola Adebajo, as he prepares to ascend the throne of his forefathers.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that the congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued by Tele Ogunjobi Media Team.
The statement added that Ogunjobi rejoices with the new Orimolusi-Elect and the entire Ijebu Igbo Kingdom on this great feat, while urging Prince Jayeoba Adebajo to commit himself to carrying his subjects along to a new era of peace, stability and progress in Ijebu Igbo Kingdom, Ijebu-North, Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.
“As you prepare to ascend the highly revered throne of your great ancestors, I urge you to use your new position as Royal Father and principal custodian of the rich cultural heritage and tradition of Ijebu Igbo for the greater good of your people,” he said.
Ogunjobi advised the Orimolusi-Elect to work with the government and other traditional rulers across Ijebuland and the entire state to foster peace, harmony and socio-economic development.
He prayed that as the monarch ascends the throne of the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo Kingdom, God Almighty will grant him wisdom, long life and successful reign.
