A renowned Chartered Accountant and notable politician, Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi, has urged Nigerians to remain hopeful as they celebrate the new year, Great Achiever Magazine reports.

Ogunjobi, who gave the advice in his new year message said, 2021 was a year full of challenges, but due to the gift of resilience, Nigerians were able to cope, thus, surviving the tough year.

He therefore congratulated Nigerians for being alive to witness the new year, praying that 2022 will be a year of blessings and fulfilment to all.

Ogunjobi opined that what Nigerians need in this new year is to have great hope that can propel them to achieve their goals, adding that Nigeria is a country that is full of opportunities and potentials waiting to be tapped, saying that with hard work and prayers everything is possible.

He called on both federal and state governments to provide conducive environment for businesses to thrive, while urging the youths to engage in productive ventures, shun violence and social vices.

Ogunjobi also charged the leadership of the country to redouble its efforts in tackling insecurity and put the economy on the right track to prosperity, saying that, Nigeria is a country that is blessed with enormous human, material and natural resources which if properly harnessed will banish poverty and hardship that are confronting the citizenry.

On the fast approaching 2023 general elections, Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi, who is eyeing the House of Representatives seat to represent Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, appealed to Nigerians of voting age to register with INEC to obtain their Permanent Voter Card (PVC), to enable them vote for the candidates of their choice.

He charged INEC to be an impartial arbiter by planning very well to conduct free, fair, transparent and credible elections that will earn the respect and confidence of all Nigerians.
