Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has presented on behalf of the Ogun State Government, a one million Naira cash prize and automatic employment in any MDA of his choice to the best graduating student of Tai Solarin University of Education, TASUED, Ogunyale Oluwaseyi at the university’s 12th Convocation Ceremony.

Ogunyale Oluwaseyi is an indigene of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North Local Government area of Ogun State.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that the governor also approved 200 million Naira as annual education infrastructure intervention across all state-owned tertiary institutions, as well as in honour of his late father, a sustained one million Naira annual endowment fund for TASUED’s subsequent best graduating students.

Abiodun commissioned two TETFund projects in the institution: the Postgraduate College and Smart Classroom Building.

He congratulated all graduates of the day, and appreciated dignitaries in attendance, including the Akarigbo of Remoland, HRM Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Ajayi, FCA; the Olu of Ilaro, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle; and the Group Executive Officer and MD, Airtel Africa, Dr. Segun Ogunsanya, as they were bestowed with PhD (Honoris Causa).
