The Heritage Brothers Club, Ago-Iwoye, has donated N300,000.00 to tackle insecurity in Ago-Iwoye.

The club made the donation on Sunday, July 4 at the Ebumawe’s Palace, Ago-Iwoye.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that the General Secretary of the Club, Yomi Ogunsanu, who presented the cheque to the Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba, on behalf of the Club’s President, Oluomo Femi Bakre, said the donation was the club’s contribution towards providing effective and adequate security in Ago-Iwoye.

He said the clarion call made by Oba Adenugba to the club to give support to the security outfits operating in Ago-Iwoye has been heeded by the donation.

Ogunsanu reiterated the commitment of Heritage Brothers Club to a secured environment, adding that the President and members of the club have resolved to continuously make themselves available to support any initiative that will put a permanent solution to insecurity in the community.

He enjoined other clubs and associations, as well as well meaning indigenes of Ago-Iwoye to support the efforts of Oba Adenugba in ensuring a crime free Ago-Iwoye community.

In his response, Oba Adenugba thanked Heritage Brothers Club for the kind gesture and appealed to other clubs and associations to equally support the security outfits in order to enhance their services.
