Rivers Crisis: Senate to reconcile stakeholders

Prince Sesan Asenuga

The Ogun State Parks and Garages Development Agency (PAGADA), has observed the unruly conduct of  motorcycle riders, popularly called ‘Okada’ riders,  especially in Abẹokuta metropolis which is causing unnecessary disruption of traffic flows with attacks on motorists that complain against their reckless riding, leading to security threats.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that PAGADA, in a statement signed by its General Manager/CEO, Prince Sesan Asenuga, has warned that the state government under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun will not allow any form of disorderliness from motorcyclists regardless of their Union/Association .

Prince Asenuga said PAGADA will make its position known to the public after the forthcoming stakeholders meeting  with Chairmen of all Motorcycle Associations in the state.

He advised members of the public to take necessary precautions as regards safety when boarding any motorcycle to their various destination.

Asenuga said, “PAGADA wishes to thank and commend the state police command for their prompt action in quelling the crisis at Obantoko axis which was occasioned by  motorcycle riders”.
