Youths and Women group across Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, who are beneficiaries of the ongoing free training and empowerment programme at Ijebu-Igbo, have lauded Hon. Adesegun Adekoya, who is representing them at the House of Representatives, for the good gesture of sponsoring the programme.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that training and empowerment programme is going on simultaneously at Rolatex Hotel, Ijebu-Igbo, where participants are being trained in Tie & Dye Adire production, and Omo-Ilu Foundation Centre, where participants are being trained in Cosmetology and Beauty Products.
Participants at the two training centres are full of gratitude to Hon. Adekoya for sponsoring the training and empowerment programme, which they described as timely and sure way of reducing unemployment and poverty in the Constituency.
The participants also commended Hon. Adekoya for the various projects he has facilitated to the Constituency, urging him not to relent, as his quality representation in the National Assembly is appreciated by his constituents.
The lawmaker on his part assured that he has lined up more training and empowerment programme for the benefit of his constituents.
He disclosed that another skill acquisition training and empowerment programme for market women and youths across Ogun State will hold from 7th December to 11th December, 2020, at Omo-Ilu Foundation Centre, Ijebu-Igbo, urging trainees across his constituency to register for the programme that seeks to enhance capacity of the women in modern ways of improving their trade, while the youths will be trained in Information and Communication Technology.
Hon. Adekoya, the Deputy Minority Whip in the House of Representatives, promised that he will not be tired of facilitating dividends of democracy to his constituency, as he appealed for more support and cooperation from everyone.
