Hon. Adekoya facilitates training and empowerment of Youths and Market Women in Ogun

The House of Representatives Deputy Minority Whip, Hon. Adesegun Adekoya, has concluded arrangements for the skill acquisition training and empowerment of Youths and Market Women across Ogun State which is being facilitated by him.


Great Achiever Magazine reports that the lawmaker has therefore requested for the nomination of trainees that will benefit from the skill acquisition training and empowerment programme.

According to Hon. Adekoya, the training is one that seeks to enhance capacity of the women in modern ways of improving their trade. 

He said participants will be empowered with start up capital, mobile phones and Bum Wallets.

Hon. Adekoya assured that Google will be available to train the youths in Information and Communications Technology, adding that at the end of the programme, each youth will be given a laptop, certificate and “a tidy sum that will enhance the value chain”.

The lawmaker also disclosed that the training sessions will be from Monday, 7th Dec. to Friday 11th Dec., 2020, at Omo-Ilu Foundation, Ijebu-Igbo.

He directed interested persons to obtain training forms at his Constituency office in Ago-Iwoye, Ijebu North local government area of Ogun State, while Bakare Oluwakemi can be contacted on 08074530426 and Omooba Sogbesan Adegbesan on 08054600729, 08037030669 for further details.
