Gov Dapo Abiodun

The Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Public Communications, Hon. Remmy Hazzan, has dismissed claims that there is leadership vacuum in the media team of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Hon Hazzan disclosed this on a live radio programme on Friday,  while speaking on the achievements of Gov Dapo Abiodun-led administration in the last one year.

The Special Adviser on Public Communication said the media team of Governor Dapo Abiodun is not in shambles, neither does it lack proper leadership.

According to him, “In the organogram of the media team, each appointee in the team has his or her specific responsibility and a well defined job specification”.

Hazzan said as at present, all other members of the media team reports to him, and if tomorrow, the Governor appoints a Commissioner for Information and Strategy, all would answer to the Commissioner and come under his management, while still holding their respective job specifications.

He said: “We have those in charge of media engagement, new media, media houses retainership and content generation, print media”, adding that the Governor is not haphazardly handling the media and its engagement.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that Hon. Remmy Hazzan explained that there were procedural steps taken by the present administration to achieve its feat in infrastructure, education, employment generation, health, security, housing and agriculture among others which afforded the State to move to the next level.

The Special Adviser enjoined the people of the State to expect more dividends of democracy from the Dapo Abiodun-led administration  as it steps into its second year.
