Gov. Dapo Abiodun
Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has disclosed that 28 persons who had contact with the Italian that tested positive to coronavirus have been quarantined.
The governor made the disclosure on Friday, when he addressed a press conference at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
He said government is embarking on continuous tracing of other people who might have had contact with the patient for the purpose of isolating them, while assuring that equipment needed by health officials to arrest the situation had been procured.
Governor Abiodun further confirmed the shut down of the company where the patient visited before he was diagnosed of the virus, saying the company had set up two isolation centres.
