Senator Kashamu was officially presented the party’s flag at
Ijebu-Igbo, by Engr. Bayo Dayo, who affirmed that Senator Buruji Kashamu
remains the candidate of PDP for the gubernatorial election in Ogun State,
having submitted his name along with other candidates for various positions to
Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The occasion had in attendance former National Secretary of PDP,
Prof. Wale Oladipupo, some serving Senators from Abuja, party chieftains and
supporters within and outside Ogun State.

Speaking after receiving the party’s flag, Senator Kashamu
promised to run a responsive, transparent and all inclusive government where all
issues concerning the citizens of the state will receive prompt attention if
elected.

Prince Kashamu further informed that, Education, Health,
Agriculture, Industrialisation and Security will receive priority attention
under his government.

On his part, Dr. Reuben Abati, the deputy governorship
candidate, appealed to members of the party to be united and continue to
sensitise the electorate about good governance which Senator Kashamu will bring
to bear in Ogun State if elected into office.
