It was a glorious exit and celebration of life, as His
Eminence Primate (Dr.) Jonathan Adediran Osanyinpeju was laid to rest in
Abeokuta.

The late Primate Jonathan Osanyinpeju was the father of Dr. Oluwaseun
Osanyinpeju, Medical Director, Bestcare Hospital, Ago-Iwoye.
In their sermon at the open air church service conducted by The
Holy Spiritual Church of Christ, the officiating ministers commended late Primate
Osanyinpeju for giving his entire life to the service of God, and admonished
his children to follow their father’s footsteps by building on the legacy of
selfless service to humanity left behind by their father.

The first son of the deceased, Dr. Oluwaseun Osanyinpeju,
thanked God for blessing their family with a loving and caring father, who he
described as exemplary, strict disciplinarian and spiritual colossus. 
Officiating ministers
Dr. Osanyinpeju said his father will be remembered for his
hard work and philosophy of obedience to the parents and constituted authority
which he inculcated in all his children.

The late Primate (Dr.) Jonathan Adediran Osanyinpeju,
popularly known as Asajeun, was born
on 8th June, 1928 to late Chief Nathaniel Ademuyiwa Osanyinpeju and
late Apostolic mother Juliana Abebi Osanyinpeju.
He was a renowned educationist and broadcaster who was
involved in many trading activities before he finally became the spiritual
leader of The Holy Spiritual Church of Christ.

Dignitaries from all walks of life, particularly from
Ago-Iwoye, where Dr. Oluwaseun Osanyinpeju resides and practices his medical
profession, came in large number to pay their last respect to late Primate
Osanyinpeju.
