The annual “Jesus Feast” programme of Treasure House of God took place on Tuesday, with thousands of people partaking in the event.

The event which took place at the church’s premises at Quarry road, Abeokuta, witnessed a large turn out of worshipers and non-worshipers alike, who arrived the venue as early as 4.00am.
Items distributed to beneficiaries at the event were rice and raw meat.
Speaking on the essence of the programme, the chairman of the “Jesus Feast” committee, Deacon Kayode Ogunjimi, said that the distribution of foodstuffs to beneficiaries, comprising of youths, widows, widowers and old people is in fulfillment of the church’s determination to always make people happy, especially the needy during the yuletide.
Deacon Ogunjimi further stated that the church fed 5000 people last year, while over 10,000 people came out this year to partake in the event which is usually held every Christmas, and in its third year running.
“The church believes in putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged, and sharing love with them in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ”. he said.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to Great Achiever magazine commended the church for the kind gesture, and called on other churches to emulate the good deed of Treasure House of God.
