The Ogun State governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun, deputy-governor-elect, Mrs Noimot Oyedele-Salako and lawmakers-elect received Certificates of Return from Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday.

The INEC National Commissioner in charge of Ogun, Ondo and Lagos States, Dr. Adekunle Ogunmola, presented the Certificates of Return to Prince Dapo Abiodun and Mrs. Oyedele-Salako.
In the same vein, the 26 lawmakers-elect in Ogun State also received their Certificates of Return at the well attended event.
Speaking after receiving his Certificate of Return, the governor-elect pledged that he will run an administration that will be fair, equitable and inclusive.
Prince Abiodun said that his government will earn the confidence and trust of the citizenry through transparent and accountable leadership, focused and qualitative governance that will create the enabling environment for an enduring economic development and individual prosperity of the people of Ogun State.
In his remark, the INEC National Commissioner, Dr. Ogunmola, advised Prince Abiodun to justify the confidence reposed in him by the people of Ogun State by ensuring that all his campaign promises are fulfilled
