Abiodun pledged that the appointment was just a tip of what Ogun state youths will enjoy from his government, as more of it is coming.

He lauded the  Special Adviser on job creation, Mr. Lekan Olude, who was the founder  of the Jobberman site, and the brain behind the portal – jobs.ogunstate.ng.gov.  for his contribution and initiative towards the creation  of the portal.

The governor highlighted the benefits which Ogun state youths will experience from the Ogun state job portal.

“This portal will enable investors and industrial owners to locate the kind of employer they want according to their field and area of specialization”, he said.

He stressed further that creating more job opportunities for the unemployed youths will not only reduce the level of unemployment but also develop Ogun State.

The governor appreciated the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Royal Fathers and other dignitaries that graced the occasion.

In his remarks, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo commended Prince Abiodun for the opportunities given to the unemployed youths  and also congratulated the newly employed youths and advised others not to relent or feel discouraged.

He urged the youths to develop interest in agriculture in order to create more job opportunities and  for the development of Ogun state’s economy and Nigeria as a whole.

Prof. Osinbajo described the creation of the job portal as a good example laid down by the Ogun State government, and hoped it stretches across other states.
