The Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba, has commended the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for the distribution of new police patrol vehicles to police formations across the state.
Oba Adenugba gave the commendation on Tuesday, when the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ago-Iwoye police division, came to present the division’s new patrol vehicle to him at his palace.
He therefore urged the police to double their efforts in tackling insecurity so as to justify the huge investment of the state government in procuring the well equipped patrol vehicles.
The DPO, who was represented by Inspector Afolabi, thanked the governor for providing the patrol vehicle, and assured that criminals within the community will be flushed out.
The DPO solicited for the support and cooperation of members of the community in the area of fighting crime, by giving information to the police to make their job easy.
