Gov Abiodun and Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has officially received Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi into All Progressives Congress (APC), following his defection from People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In an elaborate event which took place at the Presidential lodge, Abeokuta, on Monday, 20th February, 2023, Ogunjobi, a prominent politician and former Chieftain of PDP from Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North local government area of Ogun State, formally pitched his tent with APC along with his teeming followers and supporters.

Gov Abiodun, while welcoming Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi into APC, thanked him for joining APC and also commended his followers for their loyalty.
The governor assured that very soon the decampees will begin to see positive impacts which will not make them regret their joining APC.

Abiodun confirmed that he received the decampees wholeheartedly and what is due to them will be given without any discrimination.
The governor said he was pleasantly surprised at the turnout of Ogunjobi’s followers at the event within a very short notice.

The governor urged everybody to vote massively for APC in the coming elections.
In his response, Ogunjobi assured the governor of his unalloyed support and commitment to the success of APC in the coming elections, urging his followers and supporters to vote massively for the reelection of Governor Abiodun and all APC candidates.
He said APC is the way, noting that PDP is dead in his Federal Constituency.
He commended Governor Abiodun for the good works his administration did in Ifelodun Constituency, citing Ilisha-Ago-Iwoye road and Igan Road in Ago-Iwoye as some of the dividends of democracy that can be referenced.
He charged his followers to vote massively for all APC candidates.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that Tele Ogunjobi, an astute politician with very rich political background, is a past Chairman of Ijebu North local government and Special Assistant to the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Chief (Dr) Jubril Martins-Kuye.
He had also served as Commissioner (Finance and Planning), Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission.
