The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Umaru Fintiri, the PDP candidate, as the winner of the Adamawa governorship election.

Great Achiever Magazine reports that Prof Mele, the INEC Returning Officer, announced that Governor Fintiri scored 430,861 votes to defeat his closest rival Aishat Dahiru Binani, the APC candidate, who scored 396,788 votes.
