The Sultanate has confirmed sighting of new crescent of Ramadan.
This was confirmed by the Sultanate on its Twitter page @moonsightingng in the evening of Sunday, March 10.
The statement said that the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Saad Abubakar will make official announcement soon.
The tweet read: “The Sultanate has confirmed a single sighting claim and His Eminence the Sultan will soon make an announcement. Ramadan Mubarak.”
