Aletheia University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, is set to hold its first matriculation for the pioneer students of the university.
The university in a statement said the matriculation ceremony will be held on Saturday, 15th June, 2024, at the university’s Foyer of the Senate Building.
Guests are expected to be seated at 9.30am.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that Aletheia University received its operating licence as a private university from the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2023.
Some of the courses offered by the university include: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Food Science, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mass Communication, Microbiology, Industrial Maths, Physics/Electronics, Industrial Chemistry.
The Founder of the university, Major General (Dr) S.A Awosanya (rtd), in a chat with Great Achiever Magazine disclosed that the university has put in place affordable fees with very liberal payment options for the students.
He said students are to enjoy Founder’s Foundation Students’ Rebate, which is 20% of tuition fee, while 60% of school fees is payable before resumption for 1st semester and 40% balance payable before resumption of 2nd semester.
Awosanya, while speaking on the uniqueness of Aletheia University, said the university will teach students to become professionals in their areas of academic pursuit and train them to become employers and entrepreneurs in careers of their choice, adding that graduates will go home with at least two certificates; academic and vocational.
He therefore urged parents to send their children to Aletheia University to enable them benefit from an excellent learning experience and environment.
