For the second time running, the organised labour has again rejected a N54,000 minimum wage proposal of the Federal Government.
At last week’s meeting, the government had proposed N48,000, while the organised private sector had proposed N54,000 against organised labour’s N615,000.
The meeting of the 37-member committee has been rescheduled to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22.
The Organised Labour is being represented by the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC.
